Ashado's sale has interesting PR angle
As reported on The Bloodhorse site, when Kentucky Oak (G1) winning filly Ashado is sold at the forthcoming Keeneland November Mixed Sale, a portion of the proceeds of sale will benefit Thoroughbred Charities of America - the largest umbrella non-profit organization of the Thoroughbred industry. TCA's sole mission is to raise money for distribution to over 100 organizations involved with Thoroughbred Rescue, Retirement, Rehabilitation, Research, Education, Backstretch, Jockey and Therapeutic Riding Programs.

Ashado is owned by Laurie and Jack Wolf, Paul Saylor and Johns Martin.
