With San Miguel's sponsorship agreement ending last year, prominent syndication group Sire Custodians and Equine United have booked out the Vista & Kingston Town Rooms at the summit of the Royal Randwick grandstand for today's Derby Day. Sire Custodians principal Tony Fleiter says the idea came from Lee & Anthony Freedman (who felt it could be promoted as Randwick's equivalent of Flemington's Chairman's Club). Away from the hustle & bustle of a big race day, yet with the best views on the track, fine dining & private TAB betting facilities, many of the industry's big names are attending.
